High School Swim...February 2007-08

Caley has been swimming for Sprague High school for 2 years now. Her freshman year she placed 5th at districts in the 500 Free and this year she placed 6th in the 500 Free. I can't believe she chooses to swim this, I get so tired just watching her!

I think this was the picture taken of Caley returning from Mt. Hood after taking a pretty good spill that resulted in a concussion...needless to say, she was out of commission for awhile...

January 2008 Happy 43rd Birthday, Pam!

For some reason it makes it seem so old when I have to type "43". The girls wanted to have a party for me so we invited some friends (Abbeys, Millers, Favilles). Caley also had a swimmeet that evening so I knew it would be a rush getting dinner for such a large crowd. I decided to make quesadillas ahead and warm them in the oven while we were gone....they were warm alright! To the point of being hard and difficult to eat. Maybe it was just me that noticed because everyone was gracious enough to eat without saying anything...Thanks, All!

Had a great Christmas with family. Nana and Papa, Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Jeanne and Andrew all came for Christmas dinner. The furnace went out early that morning but with the help of 2 space heaters and the oven we were able to get the house up to about 65 degrees--nice and roasty-toasty!
