Strawberry Jam Makin'....

Heather and I make a great team...Caley and Hannah had to be somewhere and we didn't want to wait so by the time they returned we had made 12 batches of jam.

I better be careful...I might get fired from my jam makin' job for eatin' too many berries! Ohhh--they were so good! I wish the season was longer...

This was just a partial stack...Heather was taking most of the pictures.

Strawberry eatin'....

I've always told my kids they need to be weighed before we go out to pick because of all the berries they eat.....I've also told them I was "fired" from my strawberry pickin' job for eating too many berries...really I was.

This is probably the last year that this will ever happen....all the kids were free to help pick berries. Brian and Caley actually had at least this part of the day off. As the kids get older and busier, this is seen less and less. These pics are from Caley's camera, so they are on her computer. When I get back on my computer I will try and post a picture like this from several years ago!

Mother's Day Photo Shoot May 2009

Caley borrowed Shawn Abbey's camera and took the girls to some of her favorite spots downtown. The only bad part about Caley being the photographer is, she is hardly ever on the "right" side of the camera. These are some of my favorites......

They are heading home from 10 days in AZ as I write this....this year's 10 days seems longer than in the past maybe because 2 of them are gone.....

Happy 17th Birthday Caley! April 12th, 2009

These are out of order--but our gift to Caley was a snowboarding trip. She went one day this year because of work and saving for her mission trips.

Easter Baskets By Elle April 2009

Kyle and Elle moved into their new home in Dec. and desired to reach out to their neighbors during Easter. These were the baskets they delivered with an invitation to the Easter Production and yummy cookies.

They brought this one to us Saturday night...and they were gone by the time they left!
